Balloon Boy Was a Hoax After All ?

Well, it was bound to happen. Just moments ago the Sheriff who initially interviewed the Heene family right after the alleged spiriting away of the youngest child just held a press conference and all that is know is that “He plans to file charges” in relation to this case.

The Larimer County Sheriff’s Office is drawing up search warrants and preparing charges against Richard Heene and the “balloon boy” family.

Officials made the announcement after Heene and his wife met with officials at the Larimer County Sheriff’s headquarters for several hours Saturday.

What does that mean? To me it suggests that the Heene family are about to get one hell of a bill handed to them for all the rescue operations. The parents may also be facing some sort of criminal charges.

From the start everyone thought that something didn’t smell right about this story. Most argued that there was something rotten in the State of Denmark.

It seems that this saga is coming to an end.

Stay tuned for further updates.

Edit: Reports are coming in fast and furious and we have the next best thing to confirmation of Heene family to face chages.

(CNN) — Authorities in Colorado say criminal charges are expected to be filed against Richard Heene, a storm-chasing father whose giant Mylar balloon ascended into the sky earlier this week — sparking fears that his 6-year-old was aboard.

Edit:
The Federal Aviation Administration, may file federal charges against the Heenes for the flying-saucer flap that grounded commercial air traffic around Denver for two hours on Thursday, the sheriff said.

Richard Heene maintains that the flying-saucer flap was “absolutely no hoax.”

Awful. I agree with everyone who says they are BOTH nuts. And she “telling the truth” is a lie, she just doesn’t want to go to jail and is throwing her hubby under the bus. Sad Family. And the kid? Mouth like a sailor. No respect at all. Sad.
