Well, I knew that David Miscavige and the “Church” of Scientology were unhappy with the global protests against them by the Internet group known as “Anonymous” but I didn’t think that they would use curtain tech around the whole Org to defend themselves.

What am I talking about? Well, have a look at the Halloween 2009 Anonymous protest pictures from Washington D.C. at the end of this post.

Now I can understand why they would want to cover up, it likely has to do with the worst two years in Scientology history. Ever since Tom Cruise went all weird on us and Scientology attempted to use lawyer tech to have the embarrassing video pulled from the Internets that they raised the ire of a ,then, relatively unknown group of like minded individuals calling themselves “Anonymous”.

Anonymous consider themselves free speech defenders and the guardians of the Internet, so it was somewhat surprising when they took to the streets and staged global protests.

That likely would have been enough to send a message to just about any group but Scientology is no average group, in fact they seem to be the most pig-headed group in history.

So when Anonymous claimed that Scientology used it’s lawyers to bully people and that Scientology uses lies to malign people and that Scientology uses violence to try and silence people. Scientology responded by doing exactly that of which they were being accused of and attempted to get judges to file restraining orders against “anonymous people”.  Yes that one does sound a little crazy and that’s because it is and the judge thought so too. Instructing The “Church” of Scientology to GTFO of his chambers.

Then Scientology released a DVD set where they tried to prove that Anonymous was a dangerous hate-group and a bunch of criminals. They might have even gotten away with that stunt if their claims weren’t quickly debunked, it turned out that Scientology manufactured video footage to try and remove the Anonymous threat. Certainly not lastly, around 2 or 3 months ago a member of the “Church” of Scientology physically attacked a young female protester in Washington D.C.

I will not post any identifying information about the victim of the attack for two reasons, firstly she is entitled to her privacy and secondly she is anonymously Anonymous.

Now, as I said, Anonymous held their global protests in January of 2008, then February, then March, April, May, etc. etc. etc all the way to the latest protest on October 31′st 2009.  It would seem that almost two years of global protests (which has to be some kind of record) have given the “Church” of Scientology the type of throbbing migraine that turns the stomach and sever light sensitivity. Hmmm, maybe that is the reason for the bedsheets, 6th and P Streets NW Washington D.C., to block out that pesky light.

Anonymous really is true to it’s word, they always claimed to:”Never Forgive”, “Never Forget”  and finally to “Expect Them”.

The COS should have known better, you can only bully people for so long before they collectively come for your scalp. It’s just something that Scientology should have expected but didn’t.
