No Olympics & Big Blow for Obama

The verdict this in, the news isn’t good, Chicago will not be hosting the Olympic games!

Facts are facts, the Olympic games will not be taking place in Chicago despite president Obama personally going to Denmark in an attempt to bring the games to the United States.

It’s disappointing naturally that the games aren’t coming to the United States, but there is a political message in that Chicago was the first city scratched off the Olympic committee’s list.

What exactly is the political message? Well, the message is loud and clear the world is hopeful that president Obama we’ll deliver on his promises a new direction for the United States on the world stage however it was quite clear that removing Chicago immediately from the candidate city list was a loud and clear message that the world has not approved of america’s bullying behavior of the past eight years.

I think it was a blow to president Obama personally, he needed a victory considering everything that’s happened with the discussion of Health Care becoming an unresponsive patient. The fact of the matter is president Obama desperately needs a victory of some sort.

There is no doubt in my mind that when he went to Denmark to personally tried to acquire the Olympics for Chicago, he was in fact looking for a victory amongst a sea of disappointment and failures. I hate to have to put it so bluntly but the facts are the facts and as much as it hurts me to say it, or write it in this situation, president Obama inherited a mess from the previous republican administration that maybe beyond his ability to fix.

So what happens now?

That’s a helluva good question, I think it’s time that our president stop acting like such a nice guy, I hope you rolls up his sleeves and puts his foot down on the issue of the gov’t option Health Care plan. He needs to take all the mealy mouthed democrats who have been taking more than large sums of money from big insurance companies and make life miserable for them if they don’t fall into line.

If president Obama can smack some sense into them than the democrats will have carte Blanche to institute what ever type of Health Care plan they desire.
