The Fukushima Nuclear plant is still not contained and it continues to contaminate the air, water and soil in Japan and possibly well beyond to other countries. Elevated radioactivity has been confirmed in the US West Coast. What does the future hold for this disaster.
Fukushima Nuclear Plant is spewing so much radiation into the atmosphere that there is a measurable increase in the background radiation in California. I would call this a very critical situation and far and away much worse than 3 Mile Island ever was. I'm not even certain which is worse, Fukushima or Chernobyl.
